Education, Fitness, Friendship 

We believe that education is not limited to the classroom. Youth in Motion offers educational programs that go beyond academics for community members of all ages.

YIM South Shore offers certifications in lifeguarding, babysitting, and first-aid/CPR. Our youth enrichment programs are designed to introduce young community members to new skills and experiences, including American Sign Language, music and dance, and yoga.

Maintaining bodily fitness is essential for a fulfilling and sustainable lifestyle, no matter one’s age or physical condition.

Youth in Motion offers a variety of programs that allow members to take advantage of our facilities and expertise, including Zumba, yoga, Pilates, kickboxing, and spin.

Athletic competition is the cornerstone of communal fitness, and YIM South Shore is proud to make its facilities available for community sports. Whether for intramural basketball leagues to competitive soccer matches, Youth in Motion offers a location for groups or a place for individuals to join others looking to compete and grow.

The South Shore Center also offers training programs for young people interested in learning how to play a new sport.
