Love to run but do not like running by yourself. Come to the YIM and run as a group. Kids (4 – 12) and parents are welcome to join us on June 23rd, July 7th, 21st and August 11th, 25th. Meet us in the middle pavilion behind the YIM at 9:00 am. We will start running at 9:15. We have a 1/2 mile route that kids and their parents can run once or as many times as the want until 10:00 am.
Running is a great exercise whatever your age, and encouraging children (and parents) to participate in all different kinds of sports/activities that involve running in both a positive and healthy way of life. Running strengthens bones, helps improve coordination, exercises the cardiovascular system, strengthens muscles and tendons, BUT is also fun. Each week we will have a new theme to our runs.
